Olga Suvorova
Olga Suvorova is a Russian contemporary painter born in Saint-Petersburg in 1966. She is the daughter of the renowned Igor Suvorov, who received the prestigious title of Honored Artist of RSFSR. Alongside her father and daughter, Suvorova is part of a talented and respected dynasty of Suvorov artists.
Suvorova developed her technique at the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Arts. Her medium is mainly oil on canvas, creating historical costume portraits in the style of Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo. Suvorova’s own signature style is also reminiscent of the Artistic Movement Mir Iskusstva (The World of Art), which was popular at the turn of the 20th century. She is known for designing sophisticated compositions of birds and flowers, which evoke a dreamlike atmosphere that is both timeless and elegant.
